In today's issue we will talk a little about our web development department.
We recently completed a website for the National Youth Music Competition. The requirements for this project was a visual front-end with the back-end capability to control the front-end data. So the client can upload photo's, manage online documents, access candidates list and much more.
As the competition only comes ones a year we faced another challenge of keeping it alive. This is where we offered the client our SEO and Social media packages. In the SEO package we work on the websites ranking to achieve i higher search result when the revelant keywords are used in search engines.
For the social package the client chose Facebook and Youtube. Here we create the pages and then manage them. Our responsibility is to create posts and create a social following. For NYMC this was i crucial platform as most of the competition candidates and sponsors are using social platforms.
There is still future plans for the website as for next years competition the competitors will be able to sign up online and sponsors can do donations directly online. Please feel free to have a look at the website at www.nymc.co.za
